Binoviewer Shootout In The Desert
is review by Jim Gutman, Moderator of the " Yahoo "Binoviewer"
discussion group with over 1000 members. It appears on The Cloudy
Nights Website under "Reviews" and then "Accessories".
Though it was done before our
Power x Switch innovation was introduced, it's still an accurate way to
gauge the performance of our Basic Standard Binoviewer compared to some of
the best. The review was done before many improvements such as our
Aluminum Locking Eyepiece Holders, SCD Holders, and The Power x Switch
were introduced. Also, The Premium Denk II was still just an idea on the
drawing board. The Binoviewer used in this comparison was a Standard
Denk, which is same Binoviewer included in the Big Easy
Package and the Standard Power x Switch Packages.
Three Binoviewers Compared
review attempts to address the question which was being asked by
everyone at that time: "Where does the Standard denk Binoviewer stack
up when compared with a competing brand?" Our Premium Denk II was
unavailable at the time as it was still in the development stage.
Return Of The Denkmeier
review by Rod Mollise, Author of the book "Choosing & Using A
Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope" is actually an ammended review of one
that first appeared in his March 2002 issue of Skywatch. We made some
improvemnts to the eyepiece holders so Rod wanted to update his
original review which was also extremely positive.
Review Of The Denk II
examining the Standard Binoviewer in his review titled, "Three
Binoviewers Compared", Tom Trusock wanted to give a careful look at The
Premium Denk II Binoviewer to see if there really was a discernable
difference at the eyepiece when compared with the Standard binoviewer.
This review promises to answer the most frequent question asked: "Is there a real difference between the Standard and the Denk II BInoviewer?"
The Denkmeier SCT Power x Switch
Crilly's review of the Power x Switch can be linked to from here. There
really aren't many formal reviews at this time that have examined the
merits of The Power x Switch.
#S1: The Power x Switch Star Diagonal
Rod Mollise, noted authority on the
use of SCTs and author of "Choosing & Using a Schmidt Cassegrain
Telescope" puts our Power x Switch Star Diagonal #S1 through a workout.
We believe that 5 years from now, every SCT user will own one of our
Patent Pending #S1 Diagonals.
The New Filter Switch
Jim Welisek likes filters but was not pleased with various aspects of the filter sliding ssyems that he previously had been using. Weould the new Denkmeier Filter Switch prove more effective in allowing Jim to change filters?
