Focal Reduction With a Denk Binoviewer In A Dob??
Yes!! A New $199 Option for Denk II Newtonian and Universal Power x Switch Systems
Everyone with a big dob seems to want a "lowest Power Option" for wider fields of view. Our new .85X
Power x Switch Reducer System for Newtonians delivers "Unit 1X
Magnification" when used with The 1.4X Denk II Newtonian Power x Switch
System, and ".85X Reduction Magnification" when used with The Denk II
Universal Power x Switch System. Specially designed to work with our
D21 Eyepieces, this system will allow them to operate as if they were
24mm 65 degree eyepieces with this very new Denkmeier System.
Any
Denkmeier Binoviewer using our 2" OCS and Power Switch System may
easily upgrade and add this auxillary Reduction Power x Switch.
Reduction can be implemented instantly, and then removed instantly.
Only Denkmeier Optical offers a true Power Switching 2" Optical
Corrector System and now the "Reduction-Mode" makes wider field views
of nebulae and galaxies possible. Designed by Russ Lederman, Owner of
Denkmeier Optical and long-time 20" F/5 user, you asked for it and we
heard you! Information will be added to the website on a special page
very soon featuring photos and descriptions as well as focuser
requirements. Call for details or note "Add Reduction Power
Switch" in the comment box on your shopping cart order. We will add a
charge of $199 to the order.

I
did have a chance to try the unit out in my LX90 last night. Simply
Amazing! I don't think I can ever go back to monocular viewing! And the
binoviewer itself is a work of art. I am extremely impressed. I had my
best look yet at Comet Holmes in reduction mode of the Power x
Switch.-R. Harris 11-15-07

What is it that will allow you to see The Horsehead Nebula visually, in real time
, with an 80mm refractor under average skies? Did we mention you'll be
using both eyes? BIPH is a very unique and exciting astro device that
works in all telescopes. BIPH is only available in The United States of
America due to strict technology export restrictions.
BIPHtm - BINOCULAR PHOTON MACHINE Patent-Pending
Definition
BIPH n ('biff) 1. BINOCULAR PHOTON MACHINE {Patent-Pending} powered by a Gen 3 Ga
Thin Filmed hand selected and quality-tested tube. 2.
System that allows observers to use two eyes in any telescope rendering
real time views with additional light amplification of as much as
50,000 compared to conventional eyepieces. 3. Public outreach
system that offers instant views to the general public without the need
for making focus or
inter-pupillary adjustments. 4. Gen 3 binocular that becomes a hand
held, dual eye
ultra-widefield viewing device when adding a camera lens and shows
billowing detail in objects like the Pelican and North American
Nebulae, bifurcation in M27, etc. 5. BIPH allows small scopes or camera
lenses used visually to
show structure that eludes detection even in largest scopes not using
BIPH.

Delivery Schedules
January
1st, 2008- Normally, products ship within a few days of placing your
on-line order. Every Denk Binoviewer System and D21 or D14 eyepiece
pair is carefully assembled in our Ocean City Maryland Shop and
generally, we build each system after an order has been placed by a
customer, for that specific individual. Every binoviewer and eyepiece
pair that leaves the Denkmeier Shop is accompanied by a certificate
signed by Russ Lederman, Owner of Denkmeier Optical, Inc. stating that
he has personally assembled and tested your Binoviewer & Eyepieces.
All OCS Lenses are tested using extra-focal diffraction patterns viewed
through a flourite objective lens. Basically, personal attention to
important details is our philosophy.
If there is a need to
receive an order within one or two days after an order has been placed,
please email us to let us know and we will confirm the availability of
that particular product.
The latest Denk II Glass has
some new and beneficial features!* We will not outsource the extremely
important job involved in examining each optical surface on every prism
under magnification, and then setting the prisms and building each
system as a unique and cutting edge optical instrument. This practice
increases production time, but ensures that
each Denk Binoviewer System and Denk D21 or D14 eyepiece pair has been
made with our careful attention to quality control as a "built-in ingredient".*Improved
Scratch/Dig Specifications of 40/20 For EVERY Surface, New
Special Baffling Design For Superior Elimination of Out-Of-Field
Reflections, & New Shape of The Glass Prisms For Ideal Fit. Our new
and improved Beam Splitter coating is 100% Dielectric!
